How our supported living process works
Step 1 – Needs assessment A local authority social worker will complete a needs assessment to determine whether supported living is appropriate.
Step 2 – Referral Once funding and support needs are agreed, contact us. One of our referral managers will get in touch.
Step 3 – Assessment visit We will arrange a visit to learn about your current situation, support needs and goals.
Step 4 – Viewings We’ll arrange visits to available properties so you can meet staff and ask questions.
Step 5 – Proposal We prepare a support and funding proposal and submit it to the local authority for approval.
Step 6 – Move in When funding is approved we agree a move‑in date and support the person through the transition to make it as smooth as possible.
- Whether you are moving from another adult services provider, transitioning from children’s services or leaving the family home, we will support you throughout. For information on CQC registration and inspection reports, please refer to the Care Quality Commission.

Choosing supported living
Feeling comfortable, safe and happy in your home is essential.
We offer both female-only supported living units and mixed-gender units, giving individuals the choice of an environment where they feel safest and most comfortable. We work with property developers and housing associations to provide houses, apartments and bungalows designed to complement support needs. Some homes are fitted with assistive technology to promote independence.
We take time to understand each person’s preferences and requirements — location, accommodation type and adaptations — so we can match them with the right home and housemates where appropriate. Our supported living homes are in local communities with easy access to amenities and transport links.
- For people with autism or learning disabilities we support consistent daily routines and ensure compatibility when individuals share a home.
